Edinburgh Workshop

Where: Edinburgh Napier University, Castle Room, Craighouse Campus, Craighouse Road, Edinburgh EH10 5LG (Map)

Time: 14:00 to 19:00. Please arrive from 13:30 for registration.
For: Young people under 35 of all backgrounds, faiths and experience levels.
Bring: A meditation cushion or stool if you have one, and a blanket for deep relaxation. Food and refreshments provided.

In today’s busy world, we all experience the stress, pressures, and expectations of daily life – overconsumption, overwork, uncertainty and anxiety about the future. How can we touch peace and freedom in the midst of it all?

This workshop offers us time and space to come together to disengage from all the busyness and begin to reclaim our freedom.

With the tools of mindfulness practice, we will learn how to stop and listen more deeply to ourselves and others, to explore what binds us and what can make us more free.

Activities will consist of:

* Guided sitting meditation
* Talk by the monastics
* Walking meditation
* Eating meditation
* Deep relaxation
* Question & answer session
